Opinions please

I know this has been spoken about but would like your opinions please.
We offer free gift wrap, a choice of two colours or unwrapped. With this a message that can be added for a tage.

I have started to show this by adding an attribute:'Free gift wrap', with choices of pink, white, unwrapped. In the Prompts box I have added 'Gift tag message' to be filled in if needed. All this to each product.

Do you think this is the best way of showing this or is there a way of putting in the checkout at the end?

You could collect this info at checkout by using the user defined info with a drop down list but it's a great selling point so you should also advertise it like crazy on all of your products.

I think you're right and Im going to keep it to each product, like you said to advertise it as much as possible!
