    Using 'Help'

I'm having a play with Business Multi Site V8.5 full version

When I use the Help Tab > Help Topics
i get the error message; Failed to launch help.

    Anyone else experienced this?

How embarassing needing help to access the help files

    Hi Pete

Could you try double-clicking directly on the 'ActinicMainHelp.chm' file in the 'Actinic v8' folder? That should get the help open for you.

I think it shows a man in touch with himself, with great strength of character and fortitude

...might even be worth an honorary goat point perhaps.

              Hey - if don't ask - you don't get!
Unfortunately though you still don't actually have a resolve for the initial post. I would guess the only sure way would be to completely uninstall and resinstall again.

I did get a sensible answer from Chris

The problem is on my Actinic install at home, so these fun and games will continue until I can try it out this evening.

I forgot to add the bit about being in touch with his feminine side too. Cos we all know its only women who read help files.

According to my wife men never ask for help - and she's always right of course.

Ah yes BUT, tut tut Lee

here's a big diference between asking for help and reading help files

as we all know - those of us who have a paste function that says "search rhe forum to find the answer to this often asked question".
