    Images Problem

Hi Guys - relatively new to actinic, i did have a simple site before and have used express but this is the first time i have played around with the design of a site. After doing a bit of messing around over the weekend, changing a few bits of the design etc i now seem to have done something and im not sure what / how to fix it

    Site is www.ford-shop.com

Basically if you add something to your cart and then go to the bottom of the menu on the left and click view cart - on that page the images for checkout, continue shopping etc are not working at all and im not sure why as they worked fine before?!?

One other thing - i have no brochure pages - is it possible to have the site just in the main root directory and not the acatalog folder or is that only if you have a brochure page? if it is its not a problem as i may well be putting the brochure pages back soon anyway but thought i would check

    Hi Joanna,

    Welcome to the forum.

The problem seems to be with your BASEHREF value - if I look at the source of your pages, it is showing as <BASE HREF="http://www.ford-shop.com/"> but it should be <BASE HREF="http://www.ford-shop.com/acatalog/">. This means that the page knows where to look for the images when in the cgi-bin.

This value is taken from the 'Catalog URL' in the Web | Network Setup screen so can you check what you have in there. If that is correct then I would suggest trying to revert the basehref layout back to factory settings (Design | Library | Layouts | Base Href group | Default Base Href' (right-click and select 'revert to factory settings')).

is it possible to have the site just in the main root directory
We don't really support this as everything automatically gets uploaded to the 'acatalog' folder. However, you can do a search for this on the community to see how others have achieved it.
