Link to Sage Line 50 problem

I am considering upgrading to V8 (from v7), but have previously experienced dreadful problems with the Link program to Sage.

As my Sage is quite old (version 7 Financial Controller), I have downloaded the trial version of Actinic v8 first to test everything.

I have pretty much breezed throuh all the setup, got the SDO working, created the profile etc. All was looking good.

Now I have come unstuck on a Tax issue.

When performing the Export, I get the message:

"You are using Simple Tax mode in Link but you set Adanced Tax mode in Business. Please set to Advanced Tax mode in Link"

I have checked my Business settings and it is using Simple Tax, so now I am stuck.

Any thoughts??

We sometimes get this error when we have added an adjustment to an order and find the default tax code for adjustments is set at "Custom" rather than VAT or PRO Rata

Export a couple of orders at a time to sage and when you get the error have a close look at that order
