    Shipping Bug?

When V8.5 was released in Beta there was a bug when the shipping tables at http://www.actinicdownloads.com/shipping.htm were used in a site that was upgraded. This is now fixed as far as I can see - however when a new site is created in 8.5 and the tables imported the imported tables are not shown in the shipping tab and the site crashes everytime you select any part of the shipping.

If however I export the shipping tables from an upgraded site that uses the actinic shipping tables and import it into a new site everything works OK. I assume that this is because the Download has not been updated to match the new shipping module in 8.5?

    Hi Malcolm

This is almost certainly the case. I'll remove the shipping tables from the download site right away.

Could you let me know which ones you are using please and I will get them updated.

The shipping module looks to be at the root of our (and many others no doubt) upgrade issues.

When we upgrade, many of the sites look fine, then when you order you get up to the ad address stage of checkout, then click next and a general error appears....

"General error, shipping plug in etc..."

No matter what settings you select (simple or otherwise)

        Could this be connected Chris?

Are you using any custom java in them at all?

I think there is a link as stated in an other topic across in the Designers forum.

Chris or Bruce may shed some light on this when they have time.
