Hi, I am trying to upload my site to my web site which is being hosted by a company called streamline.net

I am using the actinic wizard under "advanced network setup.
It get so far and then throws up the following error...
An error occurred while attempting to change permissions of th efile ActinicBasicCgiTest.pl.
The FTP server returned a reply code of 550.
The current permissions of the file are 0700 and the required permissions are 0755.

Does anybody know what I should do to resolve this?
Anybody used streamline before?

Hi,

I am currently using Streamline without any issues, in order to upload your site to streamline you will need to download a program called "putty" this will enable you change the permissions on your folders

Windows v Linux

Hi, thanks for the info.

Someone suggested to me that I ask Streamline to move my hosting over to a Linux server rather than a Windoes version. This I have done and all now seems ok.
