    Fragment repetition

I've got a fragment on the front page of my site which contains some info about upcoming events (say). If I want this fragment on various other pages, and to be updated when I update the one on the front page, how do I go about this? I can see how to copy the fragment to other pages...

I've a feeling I'm missing something fundamental here, but can't see what...

In the content tab content tree highlight the fragment. Right click, copy. Highlight the page you want to add it to. Right click, paste.

    Put that shotgun down!!!

Bill - will that update the child copies if the parent is altered?

That's why I added the shotgun comment - I realised I had completely missed the question.

        I'm having a dumb day...

Your just out of my gun sights in Egypt

One way would be to set a user defined variable, add this to a new fragment layout and then declare the text in the main site settings ... changing the one instance would then propagate down the site to all instances where that fragment is used.
