tracking current shoppers and abandoned carts

Is there anyway to track current shoppers and/or abandoned shopping cart orders?

Google Analytics is a good way to do it. Register for a free account and insert the tracking code and goals, you can then monitor your site. Search for Google Analytics it been discussed at length before.

I have analytics already but didn't see how to track current shoppers or abandonded carts.

How are you using analytics to do that?
