    Editing Receipt Page after Upgrade to v8

    After installing a v7 site into v8 and retaining the original design unable to edit the receipt page.

    The preview pane shows the layout as per v7 but nothing shows in the code pane, clicking any of the items in preview does not bring up editable code. The layout had to be edited directly in the Library.

    Is this a bug (being a text document not HTML) due to retaining the original design or just a one-off with this site. Other sites in MultiUser (v7 upgrades using default v8 theme and new v8 sites) allow me to edit the receipt page so probably not my installation.

    I sometimes find that things are not clickable in the design panel if Actiinc is confused by some invalid code in the <head> section. Currently, even an extra space in a </head > tag is enough to cause Actinic issues.

    I suggest copying a v8 <head> section into your upgraded receipt template and see if that helps.

      Ive the same problem on a couple of upgraded sites where non of the pages are editable. As Chris says V8 is very picky about the head code.

        Was aware of the own-build outer layout and the <body onLoad> issues but not that the <head> was so delicate... will install a vanilla v8 <head> to see if that resolves.

          Currently, even an extra space in a </head > tag is enough to cause Actinic issues.
          This one was of my early 8.5 upgrades. It seems it only affects 8.5 sites.

              dragging this up again because I've been editting my receipt page to make the "done" button more prominent.

              Is it just me...or is Actinic rather flakey when it comes to editting the receipt page? Ever click of the mouse hangs..and I had to "end task" on it 3 times because I was trying to change the "done" button text in design>text and it kept hanging with the receipt page in design view underneath

              Just wondered if it's just me..or whether others found this too?
