Mods Can We Please Have A Dedicated Network Setup Forum

This is such a common area of problems and one where many issues are encountered. Can we have a forum called "SETTING UP YOUR NETWORK SETTINGS", it would be a great help for any newbies. One forum for everything is just too generic and diluted, especially something this important.

Perhaps a sticky detailing common things required such as permissions etc. This would have to reduce the number of repeat posts and also calls to your office on the problem.

Maybe even a thread which details hosts that can actually work with actinic.

Reopen the bleeding thing then, rename it to something simple and have it as the top forum, not stuck at the bottom!

Maybe we could have an Actinic Gold thread, with links to all the best threads across the Community? That way theres only one sticky, a bit like how the AUG for v8 gets updated.

IMO the mods are missing a big trick with these forums, so vast and generic and cumbersome in their current state. I wish i was a mod for a day, i'd get it sorted. Its like looking at a library with all the books facing inwards and frosted glass in front of them.

If there is one subject that crops up daily its hosting/network/cgi blah blah blah - get them all in one place so that we can direct the lazy posts to the section.

There is so much stuff on here finding it is next to hopeless - even after the search settings were modified.. so lumping similar stuff into a relevent forum has to be a step in the right direction

I agree wholeheartedly, failing to set this up is tantamount to saying "sod it the regular posters will cover this" IMO.
