    Several questions about Actinic!

    Hi guys,

    (Brace yourself for many questions!)

We have a client who we created an Actinic store for (www.euroschools.co.uk), we have some questions about their setup and what versions of Actinic they should use.

    1. Can you have several users to one developer license?

    2. Can the client and us use Actinic designer (only 1 version of the software) or do we have to have the designer and they have to have the catalog client?

    3. Can we use of mix of Actinic catalog client and business client?

    4. If they are running two versions of Actinic, one in the shop and one at home, how can they keep them in sync? Do you use snapshots and pass them back and fore or is there some way that Actinic automatically sync's them?

Hope that made sense, I was getting lost in my own words!

    Thanks

If in any doubt then contact Actinic on the phone.

No - I don't see a way that would work.

You cannot download orders with Designer (other than test orders). You must sell your customer a Client licence to operate the store.

This will depend on the features you have used in your design - some features are available in Catalog. If you have used Business only features then your customer will need a Business Client licence.

Passing snapsshots - there is no auto-synching.

      Thanks for replying Duncan.

I will ring Actinic at some point today, I just wanted a general idea for each question.

      Thanks again.
