Re-registering a site

Hi all,

I've had a search in the forums, and can't find the best way to do this.

I have backup's, and even a copy of my site folder and need to register the site onto my new PC.

Can anyone tell me the best way to do this without too much disruption and heartache?

If using multi site ability then create a new site in Actinic, or if on a single licence, just start it up.

Go to the file menu and import the snapshot you have of the site and that should be it - assuming that all was in the site1 folder, which if files were contained outside of the site1 folder, then within the imported site1 you will find a NOTCATALOG file with the file paths to move the files into.

Thanks for that -- I initially did what you said, but nothing appeared in the preview pain. I up-dated to IE7 and all seems on (other than some custom stuff missing!)
