We are running Actinic 8.0.5 and are experiencing problems uploading our Actinic site.
After choosing either "Update Website" or "Refresh Website", the "Check and Send Files" dialog box comes up as usual. The "Checking HTML Pages" goes through, but shortly into the "Checking Catalog" stage it crashes, "This program has encounted a problem and needs to close", and gives us the opportunity to send an error report to Microsoft.
So far, I have tried a compact and repair on the database in MS Access, and also rebooting our desktop PC's (Win XP Pro) and office server (Win 2003 Server) (we are running Multi-user version of Actinic).
This problem started occuring after someone in the office moved products to different sections the other day. MOVING PRODUCTS TO A DIFFERENT CATEGORY SHOULD NOT CAUSE SOFTWARE TO CRASH!
Does anyone have any sensible suggestions as to what might the problem be, and how I can resolve it?
