Bug in V8.5.1 Beta - Duplicate products

I don't think this is something I have done (for a change)
Duplicate products in V8.5.1 are showing in preview and on the web as
1!(Product ref), 2!(product ref) etc. instead of showing the original Product reference. Adding to cart still adds the original product though. I tested this with the original Actinic default site and it works the same.

Also maybe one for the wish list.
Almost always when I make a couple of small changes and update the site I get a failed merge error. If I delete the .fil files first it never happens, so how about if Actinic deleted them before every upload - problem solved?

Thanks, we actually discovered this problem in the beta during internal testing and it's now been fixed. So the release version of 8.5.1 shouldn't have this issue.

v8.5.1 should be officially released today and the final version available from the web site. Please can you wait for the official announcement and then download the official version?

For those of us who've been playing with the beta, and have added a few bits from Mole End and Drillpine, are there any issues with installing the release version over the beta?

You can install the full version of 8.5.1 over the top of the beta and it will just update the changed program files. I don't think it will ask you about upgrading layouts, but if it does you can just select 'Do Not Upgrade My Design'.
