    Design problems

I am currently experiencing problems with browser compatibility with Internet Explorer.

If you view the link below in Internet Explorer you will see that there is a big thick band of blue under the logo and again under the search box. This can be viewed correctly in Firefox.

    http://www.quality-silver.co.uk/acat...k-Diamond.html

In addition on a wide screen monitor Firefox displays the page correctly but Internet Explorer has a large gap between the brochure content and the right Bestsellers box.

I am sure that these are only small problems but they are annoying.

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks.
    Regards

    Jason

I would guess at the area you have the logo in is probably say 80px high and you have a logo that is only say 60px high. Therefore the bottom 20px shows as the background color for the area. That's the basic idea anyway.

Check your logo dimensions against the area you are sitting it into or change the background color of the cell.

I don't think it is anything to do with the logo as it is a matching pair of lines, one above and one below the search box.

It is as if a call padding has a coloured background.
