Close Actinic, backup your databases then open in MS Access and try a database compact & repair.

Thank you for the suggestions.
Unfortunately they didn't work - still crashes.
Help!
Have spoken to t/s and they were unable to give any other suggestions. So do I need to do a complete re-install?
Karl.

Take snapshots, take copies on site folders, back all data up safely and then re-install actinic.
bring in one site and see if the issue is resolved
Or if you have a second PC import a snapshot to see if you get the same behaviour.
If you don't then re-install Actinic
or you do then theres something stuffed up in your data
