Actinic V8 - Contact Us form error

    Hi

I have uploaded the site www.trendchildrenswear.com and the site works fine - apart from the contact page.

I use my ISP's (fasthosts) smpt (smtp.trendchildrenswear.com - info@trendchildrenswear.com) to send order confirmatioms etc.

However, with the contact us page, the only e-mail that will work in the "Email Address: *" field is "info@trendchildrenswear.com" any other e-mails will just issue an error message.

    Any help would be welcomed.

    Bill

I noticed several issues with your site.

1 the front page is to long, the only link to enter the site is at the bottom of the page which I had to scroll the page to see. if I hover over the image my moise turns to a fist but a click does not allow me to enter the store

2 the whole site is running SSL - this can ultimately slow the site down

3 when I clicked on the contact us link in the left navigation i got this error

"This shopping application requires permission to use cookies on your machine, but this has been denied.

This can be for several different reasons, but they are all under your control:

    - you may have disallowed cookies altogether in your browser

    - you may have the privacy policy in your browser or internet security software/firewall set to a level that stops cookies from being used by this shopping site

Admittedly I use Firefox, but nowadays you should take FF visitors into account as I believe the uptake on FF to be about 10-15%

However on using IE i received the error "
Error returned from SMTP server (4: : Sender address rejected: not owned by user info@trendchildrenswear.com )"

If you do a forum search you will see other threads discussing the same problems, search on "SMTP server (4: : Sender address rejected" The concensus is its a host problem.

      Hi

Thanks for your comments - not sure why the cookie message appeared. Anyone have any ideas?
