Brochure pages

Hi,
Can anyone please help? I am new to Actinic - used prior to.
I am trying to design brochure pages - I have produced fragments but cannot for the life of me work out how to place them in the required position in the page space. I have been referred to "getting Started " and the advanced guide but to no avail. Is there a dummies guide published that I can buy or a forum for thickies?

Can you give an example of what you are trying to achieve or what is failing? As a guess i reckon you probably want more columns than you currently have, if so the layout tab in site options is where these settings are set. (fragment column count)

If you look at Majestic's website, www.majestic.co.uk ,you will see what I mean. They have 3 columns, then 2, then 3 again. Ideally I would like to insert a table and put fragments into variable size cells - if that makes sense!!

Set your fragment column count to 3, then make sure for each fragment you select the specific layout that it will require (eg image only). You can control the format of rows, but you only control the top, the middle and the end rows. i.e. if there is a top row, 3 middle rows and a bottom row, you are making a setting for the top row, a setting for all of the middle rows and a setting for the bottom row.

OR........

You can set column count to 1, select text only layout and embed whatever you like in there using the actinic embed facility. This is good but needs a certain nouse on coding.
