    Distinguishing content pages

    Hello,

Is there a way, I'm thinking of some variable in a some conditional block, to make, from the "system's perspective", the difference between a regular content or brochure page (pages that actually display sections and products) and special purpose pages (like checkout pages). My aim here is to find a way not to display the sidebar (which contains, amongst other stuff, the navigation tree) in such special pages?

    Thanks for suggestions

Variable PageType does this. Stick it in an overall layout and see what it displays on various pages.

I just noticed it this morning. I'll try that. Thanks.

There's a list of page type names in the actiniccatalog database, table PageTypes.
