    Out of Disk Space

Whilst checking the Best Sellers list during a site refresh on an existing site (following design changes) I received a pop-up warning "Low of Disk Space".. with an option to stop or continue.

Just checked and have 4Gb local (more than enough server side but don't think it would be referring to this). I had been down to about 2.5Gb until last week (and did a major purge of collected rubbish) and no warning was to be seen.

Is this a known setting and at what level is it set to?

    Thanks,

    John

I also have this at least once a day Jont, especially after a few hours of constant working within actinic. I have 4gb ram, 70gb disk space, dual core processors and nothing else open and still get it.

I have always put it down to actinic over a period slowly leaving bits of crap in ram, which after a period of time, just fills it up and fires this mesage.

A reboot solves it everytime, so always actinic problem in my eyes.

Strange - been working in Actinic about 8 hours (also with v7 open) so far today and with about 6 site refreshes .. no new products or anything added to the database other than a few design tweaks and CSS changes.

Nothing untoward appears to have happened mind

Hi Jont - is this the standard windows "low disk space" message, or is it a message Actinic is genreating?

It caused Actinic to pause but don't recall the exact phrasing on the window TBH.

Have just done another refresh and now half way through a full purge and refresh on another site but with no warning (no reboot in between either)

I get that also, if im not just about to do something important, i just ignore it and carry on with no apparent effect. I just reboot if its going to be refresh or a job where i don't want anything possibly failing during the process.

As i usually have PS open i always blamed it on that as i give that 2gb to work with, however it happens on days when ive not even opened PS.

This is not open today as doing HTML work ... it is often lurking in the background (as well as CorelDRAW which is also closed) taking up large chunks of disk space to roam free.
