Limiting Payment options for unregistered users

hi,

I'm trying to limit payment options for unregistered users.

I'm giving registered users several options (invoice, credit card number capture, quote only etc), but only want one of these available to 'guests'.

The 'Limit to defined' Option under Business Settings | Payment & Security limits registered users to a single payment option -- not what I want to do.

Perhaps there is a way to add a condition...

any help is appreciated.

Hi Bob,

I'm afraid this is not possible with the current functionality of the software. I don't think it will possible with a script hack either.

I'll add it to the wish list.

found a workaround

found a workaround for my issue -- thought that I would pass it along.

I set all the retail prices to '0'. Unregistered customers do not see prices, but can still add items to the cart and 'checkout'.

Upon checkout, no payment options are given -- which is good as we really want it configured as a quote request...
