    Credit card security number - protx

    I'm using V8 and Protx as payment provider. I must have V8 set to capture card details rather than directly paying on the Protx site, however, in Test Mode, all is fine when downloading orders except this:

    if payment is set to "capture card details" why can I not see the customers 3 digit security number and the start date of their card when I download an order?

    This info is obviously required by Protx when I enter the customer card details but without their 3 digit number etc I can't do anything

    Please tell me what I have missed or forgot to tick??

    Do you have log on / credit card security enabled to access Actinic? This could possibly be the reason.

        If you are not asked for a password when starting Actinic it is not enabled ... you can find it under Setting | Business Settings | Options | Access on this PC

            I'm just testing my site again and although I haven't yey managed to locate customers' 3 digit security code when I download orders, I have just noted that on my payment page I only get the following Credit Card options below?

            Payment Method: *
            Credit Card Type: *
            Credit Card Number: *
            Credit Card Expiration Date: * /


            Who stole the "credit Card Start Date"?
            and the part where you enter your 3 digit number?

            Is it to do with Business/settings/payment & Security - there are tick boxes for "Fall back" and "Limited to defind customer" and all are unchecked

              I think I sorted it - might help if you untick "Defined customer" and tick "fall back" then "configure" and there you go!

              Done!
