Snapshot Registry Error

Having created and deleted 2 temporary sites today just backed up the main site in v8.5.0 and was presented with 2 errors:

(File ExportSite.cpp,  Line 1637)
Registry  error 2,  key Software\Actinic\Catalog8\Sites\site B\Catalog
The system cannot find the file specified.

With all the issues I have been recently experiencing lately with partial design snapshots http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=29378 it would see that some internal referencing issues are taking place and being held by sites.

One of the new sites (site B) licensed above had an ACD imported (created by myself on another machine) ... the outer layout was referencing the layout to another site (site A) on this same machine. The link to the outer layout was relative (not absolute). Site B was taking the outer layout design from Site A.... despite Site A not being on the machine in which the ACD was created.

Actinic has been reinstalled several times via a full download from the main Actinic site (not a patch) which clears the system but then starts with this "site memory" issue again.

John - I think you need to work with support on this one.

When you check the registry, are the keys it mentions all present and correct?

I really want to get these snapshot issues nailed down so drop me a line if you want me to take a look directly at your snapshot.

This has just happened again:

Errors

I deleted the site1 (from within Actinic) whilst under siteA ... switched over to siteB and created the snapshot with the resulting 2 errors pointing to the just deleted site1.

Checking the registry shows the site1 is not there.

It is knocking 2.00am so not in the mood to restart Actinic and see if that clears with another snapshot... will update later.

We've got this issue logged now - it always happens after renaming or removing a site, and it's always fixed with a restart of Actinic.
