HSBC e-payments problem

I noticed all of tonights transactions are failing. I have tried to place an order and get this message.

The following error occurred during the payment authorisation:
Transaction was rejected by HSBC. Message:
The CPI cannot communicate with the Secure E-Payment Engine.

Hopefully HSBC have a network status page for you to go to so see if they are experiencing a problem at the mo.

If you can exclude the possibility that the problems lies with them, you now have 2 choices.

1 Ask your host if they have made any changes that may have caused this to happen.
2 Purge and refresh the website to see if that resolves it
