how to get the shopping cart summary to stay

When I click add to cart on my store, it jumps to a shopping cart summary, stays for five seconds, and then returns back to the store.

I want it to stay there permanently, and add buttons at the bottom for checkout or return to store.

Any ideas how?

Change the bounce to '0' it will stay on the page then.

The Bounce setting as mentioned above is in Design / Design Options / Shopping Mode.
