    Cannot order lines in one section A BUG APPEARS?

    Hi Guys

    Heres the 123

    All products are set up the same without exception in their properties. But here is the ONLY DIFFERENCE.

    All sections apart from TR have been bulk imported. They all show the 5 section tabs (general, page settings, details,layout, extended info) and all work fine.

    TR only shows 3 tabs (general, page settings, details) and you cannot order, and this is the only section we have added manually.

    PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN UPGRADED SITE FROM 8.04 TO 8.5.1

    Any clues out there, it has us a bit perplex to say the least.

    I managed to add a "Trend 3 Inch Pocket Diamond Sharpening Stone" to the cart and progressed through the cart and to the checkout but in the shipping destination I received the following error:

    Code:
    Select Shipping Destination - Your order has exceeded the shipping tables
     defined by the supplier, therefore it is not possible to calculate the shipping
    cost. Please contact the supplier with this information as they will be happy
    to process your order and will then be able to correct the shipping tables.
    
    Thank you.
    This was using Firefox.

    Is this the same error as from the OP it seems you are not even able to add the item to the cart.

      thats the one jonty old bean, and it is not only happening in that section..but every where else now too?

      The tab bit indicates a bug and the ordering confirms its existance since the addition of the new shipping module me thinks?

        I had a similar unresolved issue way back in v8.0.5 (I think) and had to resort to resetting the cart pages .... but this was across the whole site not section specific and had to assign a default shipping model as the upgraded version just would not play ball.

          very annoying to say the least.

          If I add one of the 'specials' it allows me to progress, but if I do not, I get the shipping error?

          A global shipping model is a bit of a pain BUT in this instance it is using simple shipping setup as it is fixed and free over £xx?

          As for the tabs, now that is just plain stupid if you ask me, why on earth is it splitting from bulk & manual. Another great day draws to a close in the life of actinic...

            Tried this,

            reset the cart pages and have added a global postage model but still the same message

            Going to try and exclude certain products to see if this helps....

            Anyone got any other suggestions?

              All sorted, it was a mish mash but I think point 3 is what causes the issues and will be sending this off to support foe the devs to look at it...

              1 Reset the cart pages (cheers Jonty) to FD
              2 Entered a fixed fee plus FOC and bulk override in the properties
              3 Allowed the choice of delivery address
              4 The re-applied my custom changes to the cart

              hey presto, it now works, however along with point 3 and the missing tabs from manual entry as opposed bulk import (call to dev on Monday) these appear to clash with the new shipping mod.
