Missing Sub-Sections

I just upgraded to 8.5.1 US version.

It seems that when I uncheck the 'Include in site map' option on a subsection, that section disappears.

This only happens on certain sections, some are not affected some are.

When I add a new sub-section and choose not to include it everything works ok, but it would take me forever to replace all of them.

Any ideas would be most helpful.

I had a some sub-sections listed with only text, ie. I was using ‘site map section link’ for the layout or ‘section name only’ section link styles.

And when I de-selected the ‘include on sitemap’ the block if "IsSectionIncludedInSiteMap" in the site map section link layout code flags it.

So I just created a new section link layout style and removed the 'block if'.
