    google analytics filter

    Hi,

I discovered filters today on GA and want to set one up so that trafic to my /forum/ directory isnt included.

any idea how to do that? I see there is an option for specifying a directory, but I want the opposite.

    Thanks,
    Paul.

I was looking at this over the weekend also, but can't see a way either.

This is untested but have a go by using the setup in the attached image.

Looks like the only way is to make filters to include all sub folders except the one you want excluded, it does not appear possible to exclude your folders, only incoming Urls etc.

hi from what ive read so far, you apply a custom filter>exclude
            filter pattern is eg: www.mydomain.com/forum

then add the domain from the left box to the right box in the avaliable profiles

or you could try the advanced option which allows you to specify the user defined variable

im going to try this in a minute but thats how im reading it

            happy hunting

You can definitely set custom exclude filters. I don't have time to look up the syntax right now but take a read through these:
