A nice pleasing design by DJ. The only thing I could find that looked a bit out of place was the quick search - on the homepage (and some others) it looks fine but on the catalog pages it is different and doesn't blend with the site too well. It would ne nice to keep it consistent.

Ok, the bad points
1) the bird on the home page is a bit "in your face" kind of off putting and resembling a disco items website

2) I get the feeling of bank sponsership?? with all the banking images

3) not sure if the orange/yellow goes well on the shop cart with the general blue design

1) easy to navigate

2) quick to load

3) simple design (kiss)

4) excellent product pictures......done on a table studio or by a pro?

I think Kev has made some valid points (more on the over large bank logo's, rather than the 'bird'!!)

I would also change the Free Posting plug - if you want to emphasise anything (personally I find flashing signs annoying), then I would highlight the word FREE not £25.

Otherwise, a very nice design

I forgot to mention the Flash of £25 for delivery, I hate that too, it gets in your eyes

The homepage images to me look a little over compressed and lacking in vibrancy ... may be worth increasing the saturation a little to boost the colours.. especially in the plug terminals which are being over-powered by the banking logo's which are the most prominent feature on the homepage.

As the logo text is relatively simple (with a drop shadow) may be worth forgoing the shadow and use raw text instead to help with the SEO and keep the "S" logo as is in GIF format.

Nice clean looking site with good colour scheme that matches the products well.

Another thing I have noticed is that when the basket is viewed by clicking the "View Basket" link in the top navigation bar, the cart content is thrown to the right of the screen (see attached pic). This is in FF 2.0.0.3. The cart content displayed when the "add to cart" button is clicked is fine however?

When in View Basket, the About Us tab takes you to the Privacy Policy.

Hi Kev,

Yes flashing signs are very naff.
I like the screen size that fits any browser.
The site is very clear and easy to navigate.
Address contacts must be clearly visible. I believe this is now a requirement, but in any case is a must for your customers confidence.
