Checkout Button on the Bounce Page

    Hi Guyz,

My client has requested that instead of the bounce page redirecting, he would like customers be given the option to wait to shopping or to check out straight away.

Now any suggestions on how i can achieve this, I thought of doing a special bounce page and manually code the button in, but I am not sure whether this will work.

    the site is www.allenspharamcy.co.uk

    its still a test site.

    thanks

Thanks lee, I did that but I want to put a quick checkout button on the layout, so customers can click on that..hence I am trying to find out whether that can be done.

      thanks

Theres a fudge in the AUG to do this. Basic problem is that it must be added to cart before you can checkout, 2 separate processes etc.

If you set the bounce page to '0' then there is a checkout button on the page they hit, this is generally regarded as the best solution available to date. However you can try the AUG fudge and see if thats what you want.

          hi

i to would like the bounce page to appear to be step 1 in the checkout prossess,

i would like to have a checkout button in there with text saying "by clicking proceed you are agreeing to our t&c's blar blar blar"

i do not seem to be able to edit this page, i have the delay set to 0, and have even cut all the code from the editor for the bounce page, but it still displays the cart on the live site...?

i had a plan but i cant change the outer layout of the bounce page, at least i dont think i can..!

it does not appear in site options/layouts

why is it picking up overall layout and can this be changed..?

                Gary,

Try checking it in 'Design | Themes | Advanced Themes Configuration | Page Layouts | Advanced Page Configuration'.

                Kind regards,
