I have read some information on how to place an image on the front page of my store, however I still can't do it. Can someone explain what I need to do to add some images to the front page of my site. Thanks

You can also add extra images in the 'Text' area by using the following syntax:
!!<<img src="/images-sorby/sorby-bowl-spindle-gouges400px.jpg " >>!!www.yandles.co.uk
www.websilk.co.uk
Today is the tomorrow that I worried about yesterday.
So far, all is well. Am I still worried? YES! Watch some b.....d mess it up!

- Add a fragment to your page, by right clicking (if this makes no sense, then read the starter guide to understand actinic terminology).
- You then get to choose the type of layout for that fragment, by choosing which type of layout you want, you are telling actinic how you want to use the fragment you have just added, so you want an 'image only' layout as you only want to show an image.
- In the actual fragment, you get a field to put the image file name in. This is the name of the image you want to show on the page.
- Click apply and your image will show.
If that is still double dutch, i would strongly suggest taking the time to read the starter guide and actually looking at the example shop actinic puts in for you, which clearly illustrates some of the things you can do and how pages are compiled. It will help you tenfold and mean that when someone tries to help you, you will understand the actinic terminology and not sit there scratching your head thinking wtf is he on about.
