Add to Cart redirect/shopping cart continue button

Hi I have an issue with some of my products extended info pages whereby when you click on add to cart it shows the cart but when it redirects it adds a "/" after the ".html" which causes the page not to display due to an error (the same error occurs if you click continue from the cart page to).

If you go to http://www.designtoplease.co.uk/acat...gestorage.html and click buy now, after the cart shows it redirects to http://www.designtoplease.co.uk/acat...torage%2ehtml/

Does anyone know why this might be?

PS is there a way to get the urls to show "_"'s and "."'s instead of the converting it to show special characters eg show "www.url.co.uk/ext_info.html" as opposed to "www.url.co.uk/ext%5finfo%2ehtml"?

    Kind Regards
    Jon

Are you putting spaces in the page names instead of the characters you would like to see?

      Hi Lee,

I do use space sin the page name field but in the page url field i use "_" instead of spaces in the page url field eg www.url.co.uk/acatalog/watch_info.html

            Hi,

From just having a quick second look at this this issue may only occur if you navigate through the site ro a seciton as opposed to going directly to the extended info page url. eg

            1.. go to site www.designtoplease.co.uk
2.. click on bar link in left hand navigation
3.. view more info for "Sieger 600 Corkscrew RE600SK"
4.. click "buy now" and wait for redirect (in my case is "http://www.designtoplease.co.uk/acatalog/siegercorkscrew600%5finfo%2ehtml/")

does this still work ok for you or do you get the same error with the url?

            Kind Regards
            Jon

Can add to cart fine, but the page is showing Javascript errors.

                Hi Lee,

yes I have noticed the java script error on ext info pages but havent been able to determine what is causing it.

The details of the error say there is undetermined string constant on line 99, char 50 - but i have looked and dont seem to be able to find what is causing this. This error also only appears on IE and it does not mention any errors in when viewing the ext info pages in Firefox.

PS - Lee after you added to cart did the site redirect bounce back correctly? eg back to the ext info page?

                Regards

                    Hi,

Thanks for all looking into this for me - as it seems to work ok for all of you then maybe it is a caching issue - i will have a look at clearing the cache and temp internet files later and see if that works.

PS is there a way to get the urls to show "_"'s and "."'s instead of the converting it to show special characters eg show "www.url.co.uk/ext_info.html" as opposed to "www.url.co.uk/ext%5finfo%2ehtml"?
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening?

                    Kind Regards

That JavaScript error may be due to some corrupt CSS. Opera's Error Console shows some illegal characters in the CSS.
