HTML in terms and conditions

Is it possible to use HTML in the terms and conditions in version 8? I want to make certain words / phrases bold if possible. If I simply add the <b> tags for this it displays the tags rather than making the text bold.

The other method i've tried is to edit the layout of the page itself but when I try to make parts of that bold it makes the whole thing bold.

To specify that you want Actinic to process certain parts as 'html' and not as 'text', you need to wrap the html in specific embed tags that Actinic assigns for this purpose. At the very start you have '!!<' and at the very end you have '>!!'. Actinic will process everything between these markers as html.
