    Actinic 8.0.4 and PayPal

    A lot of the previous questions are for version 7.

    We run Actinic 8.0.4 with ProtX and have just added PayPal to the PSP list. We are getting a lot of orders with no email receipt and so no customer address. Do we need to turn on Auto Return and Payment Data Transfer to get this to work, or some other mystical buttons?

    Bob,

    This will happen if your customers are not returning to your site to view the receipt page. This is usually a button/ link at the bottom of the paypal page that says 'Return to Merchant Website', clicking this will display the receipt page, if they click on the 'Done' button on the receipt page, you will get the email and so will the customer.

      Thanks. I take that PayPal's Auto Return does not generate the email receipt.
