Multiple Select on Category (Section) Search

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a multiple select box for the 'Section' category list on the search page? This would basically enable a user to key in a search word(s) and select multiple categories to search within.

I have already updated the actual search select box to be multiple which does display correctly but upon searching for an item which should appear in multiple sections, the results only display items from the last section in the select list.

Hi Richard

As far as I'm aware in Actinic the only way to allow multiple searches is by "Manually Configuring the Advanced Searching". The Actinic Advanced User's Guide(V8) has tips about this under the same heading. So please take a look at it and see if it helps. The guide is available for download from HERE.

On the other hand if the tips in the guide do not help, please give us a URL so we can check what you've done and make suggestions.

I don't think there is anything in the Advanced Guide that covers this but I may be wrong, so I'll take another look and come back to you if I still have an issue.
