Log in and Log out as images

We're trying to recreate the functionality that we had in v7 in which:-

On a standard page, the Login text was replaced with an image called 'login1.gif"

When a customer is subsequently logged in, this image is replaced with another to log out called "login2.gif"

Actinic is perfectly capable of generating the links for these already however our site seems to continue to show the login text once a customer is logged in.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Have you tried a Block if to test if the user is logged in and hide or display accordingly?

I would love to - however all I could find was the Actinic:NOTINB2B code but no block if statement that said 'iscustomerloggedin' or anything like that

Does one of those exist and if so do you know what it is?

So you have Actinic:NOTINB2B surrounding that login text?

You need to ensure that 'Compact HTML/CGI' is de-selected in 'Design | Design Options.

We'd prefer to keep the HTML compacted simply as it makes the pages lighter so I don't have the NOTINB2B code wrapped around that snippet.

This is why I was looking for a variable I could use in a block if statement to find out whether a customer is logged in or not and then display the appropriate message
