    Evaluating Actinic trial version

    Hi
Currently using a competing program and am evaluating migration to Actinic. Seems to ba a much more robust program.

Can product images be resized from within Actinic?

Can a defualt image size be set within the progarm so that every product image does not have to sized in photoshop?

    Thanks

      Morning all

      Dave, what thread?

In reply, yes they can. With fixes aplenty for on the fly resizing etc.

You are aware that it is not PHP/MySQL driven and as such the DB is not managed online?

With the birth of V8.5.1 it has also become much more 'user friendly' too with code access and integration into the worlds best WYSIWYG editor (I am biased)

Go on son, get on board, you won't regret it.....

I've done an add-on that does this completely automatically.

See http://www.drillpine.biz/v8autoproductimages/ where all the standard Actinic demo images are used, but are recreated as reduced size icons with an additional tooltip popup showing the full-size image.

The size of the icons and popup images can be set globally. Then it doesn't matter what size of image you use as the patch automatically creates the correctly sized images for use on the live page.
