Upgrade and multi-user support

I am currently using Actinic Business v6 along with a multi-user version of Quickbooks Pro 2006. I wish to upgrade to take advantage of Actinic Link so that I can pull all my data from Quickbooks and update Actinic with the up-to-date Quickbooks data.

I would like to know if I actually require to upgrade to v8 to take advantage of the Actinic Link function and what options I have for multi-user Actinic? I believe to upgrade to v8 it would cost £399+VAT, how much would it cost for the multi-user v8 and what benefits would this give me?
