New user *seeking help* :)

hi all!

first of all if this thread is not posted in the correct section please fill free to move it.

Ok I am currently testing out the 30day trial of actinic software.

I will cut to the point since i dont have alot of time. My boss wants me to make him a website, with around 300 products and he will pay me and for the software *actinic* But i am not sure i have the technical know how. please help!!!

I am 19 years old and i really want to get into this field i love the whole design your own webpage feeling and watching it grow. i currently live in norfolk / uk and i have looked around my area and nowhere does webdesign courses of anything.

I do alot of photoshop things creating signatures etc so i don't think the graphical side would be difficult for me.

Please could any post any usefull comments to set me on my way ? or some good advice

Go on the Actinic design course IMO its the best and quickest way to get started using Actinic

Welcome to the forum.

You are not too far away in Norfolk to Actinic HO and the money spent on the design course will save you a fortune in time and head scratching .. it is a great way to hit the ground running.

ps.... neither of us are on commission but have attended the course and it is good value for money

Thanks for the hasty 'late replies' :P yea i was reading up about the training. Surrey is quite far from where i live but is a good alternitive. i am off to bed now guys sleep well.

I Also agree the course was well worth it. The amount of knowledge gained i that one day saved many hours later.

I planned to attend one but I asked the company that I bought Actinic from and they told me to save my time and money as it was "boring, useless and a complete waste of time"!!!
I am reasonable in dreamweaver and photoshop and really want to get an understanding of actinic.
