display price excluding taxes option

How can I display just the price. I have it setup tax by location. There is no option in the price layout to exclude tax. taxes should be displayed in the shopping cart after the customer enters their state when ticked taxed by deliver address in advanced tax options.

Hi,

Go to 'Design | Library | Layouts | Prices',

- right click on 'Compact Tax Inclusive Price' and select 'Copy'
- This will create a copy of the layout that you can rename 'Compact Tax Exclusive Price'
- Double click the layout to edit it
- On line 2 you should see (In purple) 'Product Price Including Tax'
- Right click and select 'Edit Appearance'
- Click on where you see 'Product Price Including Tax' and select 'Product Price Excluding Tax' from the dropdown.
- Click on 'Apply' then Ok to close

Now...

Go to 'Settings | Site Options | Layouts | Product', against 'Price Layout' click on the right hand side and select 'Compact Tax Exclusive Prices' from the drop down.
