Home Page Banner Width

Hi there I have designed a new web site using Theme 24 7 but the banner on the header of the Home Page is is too narrow for the main body of the page. The banner is fine however on every other page. Can anybody please help!!

Welcome to the forum.

It is not the header that is too small it is the body beneath that is stretching .. this is in IE only as it appears fine in Firefox.

Using screen calipers the header is at 760px wide as per the table width but the content beneath is stretching. Alas not able to dig any deeper at the moment but hopefully a guide in the right direction.

Check the width under Settings | Site Options | Width for main area .. try reducing this by say 20px and see what happens in a preview.

Thank you. The body was being "stretched" by the content of the New Lines and Best Sellers. Fortunately for me the powers that be deciede that they didn't much care for that feature and so it was removed and the problem went away!
