    Fragments error importing Hierachical File

Using V8.51 HFUA (or the previous version) and exporting the catalog when you re-import it, it makes a cockup of all the fragment layouts and properties.
Thinking this was due to errors in my db, I tried it with the default actinic site and it worked ok.
BUT it only worked ok as there are no catalogue Fragments in the default site, only Brochure Fragments and these are ok anyway.
So I created a fragment in the product pages and sure enough it imported odd layouts and properties into the fragment.
My guess is that it must be importing the fragment as a product and setting all product defaults to it as you cannot change the layout, you have to create a new fragment and delete the old one.

BTW the reason I did this was I thought it might get rid of a lot of rubish in the db which it did. After deleting 2 months of orders and having to re create all the fragments it has reduced my db from 90mb(compacted) to 52mb(compacted).

    Hi Phil

I too can replicate this problem with one of the default sites, so I'm going to run this by development and see what they have to say. As soon as I have an update I'll get back.
