    Where is ActinicCatalog.mdb

Hi, I am trying to find the ActinicCatalog.mdb, to find the ID for customer groups, my site isn't officially live, but on my local hard drive I searched for it and it isn't there.

    Can anyone help.
Okay, I pulled the pin. Now what?... Wait!...Where are you going?

It is wherever you have saved your sites away to when you installed.

    So that could My Docs/ActinicV8/<site name> , C:/Program Files/ActinicV8/<site name> or somewhere on a network.

it is in the subdirectory of the sites directory for your installation. Prior to 8.5.1, it would have been in c:\program files\Actinic V8\Sites\<your sitename> but since 8.5.1 you can choose to put in either

      1) All users shared documents

      C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Actinic v8\Sites\<your sitename>

      2) Your own documents

      C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\My Documents\Actinic v8\Sites<your sitename>

      3) a custom location

which would have been specified on installation.

Been as you already know the name of it, you could always use the 'search' facility on your PC to locate it also.

If, when you launch Actinic, it works and you can see a site then you have at least one ActinicCatalog.mdb somewhere.

Do you have C: and D: hard drives locally?

If it isn't on your local drive then you must have installed it on a network drive.
