mini new products items not displaying

HI.

The layout mini new products item is not showing up on home page or anywhere else. The sidebar works but it is not in a complete box like the option says. I remember when first opened actinis, there was new items on the home page 2 rows of 3 boxed in. I would love to have that back

If you look in the outerlayer page code - go to design tab, select one of your product pages, click in the sidebar - and look for the 'purple/pink' "Sidebar New Products in a box" in the code window, then right click and choose 'Edit appearance' - do you have a fixed layout selected there that could be throwing it off?

Similar for the home page, but this time you are looking for the INNERLAYOUT so click anywherein the centre of the page (where the home page content is) and then find the New Products purple/pink layout link, right click and check edit appearance. If it's not there, right click in the area of the page where you want it to show and choose insert layout.

You have arrived at too deep a level. Click the upside down yellow V (may need to click it twice) to move up one level in the code, then you will see it.

Is this it?? this just edits fonts and stuff, I want horizontal layout 3 wide, 2 rows boxed. nothing seems to work.
