    cannot access cart, website stalls

Please test the shopping cart. Website stalls to cannot be found. I contacted godaddy, anf they said it is a coding issue. Commented too much code. deleted all the files on the server and re-upped the site. cannot access cart. I did once though, but that's it.

bigDaddy are a nightmare, does the site pass the actinic network test? Theres a long thread on bigDaddy and what you have to do, i'd suggest digging it out, on all accounts it's problematic at very very best.

Well either your cgi-bin folder is not called cgi, or the permissions on that folder are not correct. What happens when you click the test button in network settings?

It passes, HUH but now it is working. Maybe just deleting all the files off the server and re-upping did it.

        Thanks Guys!!!

Cart part of the site stops working sometimes.

any thoughts?? Can we be sure it is not on my end?
When i access the page, there are items in the cart that do not match what it says on the nav bar items and $ amounts.

whoa! your site is also doing something strange when it redirects back to the catalog after adding to cart too.
Hopefully someone will be able to advise what has happened (I can't, sorry!)

Yes, I know, it does not go back to the page it came from. it goes back to the first page. If a chande to candles per say, it does not go back there, it goes to lamps, the first item i put in the cart.

Also, i cannot get past shippend page, says page cannot be displayed. incorrect info works but when i put in US and a state with the correct zip, it does not work.

Someone please check this out and tell me what you thing is wrong.

              TIA!!!
              Thanks!!

your scripts take an age to process, I hit add to cart and waited 2 minutes before being sent to a blank page, I then tried search and waited 2 minutes for that to produce a list of search results.

So i think your scripts work but they are takingto long to process. Thus sometimes they time out.

In my view you've got 2 choices

1 get convinced GoDaddy is the correct host for you
2 upload to actinic trial hosting so see if your site works

Do 2 first, if your site works you know the problem is GoDaddy, if that is the case find a new Compatible host

How would I change to that. The only time i remembered seeing that option is when I installed actinic.

                  Thanks,
