Layout qu: lots of white space on the sides?

as topic i have been playing with the site

i have put best sellers and new products etc

but i seem to have a huge exspanse on white to left and right

any clues people am i missing something obvious?
also the best sellers wont let me add more than two?
should i reinstall?

No - just go to Marketing | Best sellers and change the setting.

i have it installed on main machine and on laptop
laptop i can change desktop i can't?

Have you sold more than 2 products so it has sales to work on? Have you clicked on generate now after changing the setting?

on laptop i can put in 3 4 5 or more
desktop i cant, its stuck at 2?

Your whitespace will probably be down to the widths you have specified the main area can use in site options. Enlarge the size to give it the full width.

as you can see i can edit the lptop one ot whatever i want

re the white sides, you can see that on the site in my sig

You've got it set to only show 2 products? It's doing as you have set it surely? Best sellers will only run on 20 products, so you can't have clicked on 'generate now' either.

As for the whitespace, i've seen it already on that site and the answer is still the same as what i provided a little earlier in this thread.

Is that because you are trying to change it to a number more than '20' as it will not allow it, it will only run on a max of 20 products.

nope wont even let me change to 1 or even 3 just wont let me select inide the box,

think ill try a reinstall in the morning see if it helps

cant hurt anything as long as i backup

I'm stumped then sorry, if it's enabled and you type a number from 1-20 in there and then click generate now, it should work at that. You could try and change to select sales from last 30 days or so, see if that does anything, very strange though i must admit.
