About shipping

Hello folks,

I have a question about shipping charges. Our current model is the simplest, ie every one pays the same charge regardless of the delivery addr. Under this model, can one define different shipping zones, like 3.58 for France, 8.20 for the rest of EU, 12 for overseas and so forth. See, shipping zones can be defined only if other shipping models are set (eg by weight or can't-remember-what-else). What about a no-nonsense solution for the simple model with different zones?

Henri,

This is not possible while using Simple shipping. You can however use advanced shipping and ship by weight. You do not need to enter a weight for a product, if the weight field if left blank, Actinic will use the default weight as set in 'Shipping and Handling'. You can then create various shipping zones and assign member to them. You can then create a single entry with a specific value and select 'Take highest table value'. This should get you what you want.
