Streaming CSV data feeds is it possible

one of the suppliers i am considering offers this facility is it possible with actinic or not

Our data feeds are available in two different file types; An XML file which is suitable for both manual downloading, viewing and for automatically linking your shopping system to our data, and a CSV feed in one of two variants. The View feed link returns a CSV file that can be saved or viewed in your browser in the normal way.

A much faster streaming variant of the CSV file is also available if you use an automated integration system. Browsers are unable to recognise this file type and do not know how to open it so you should only use this system when integrating scripts with our system.

so, what you really want is a way to automatically put someone elses products into your actinic shop?

csv, xml or otherwise, actinic is not really geared up for any kind of affiliation.

perhaps look into a php solution?

Auto insert as stated is not possible with Actinic.

But if you wish to use the data then go for the csv file.

Much easier to manipulate into a file for import IMHO.

As long as you are strict with your product ID you can get around 6-10k into a store within 1-2 days (7-10 days if you are new to this kind of work)
