Sales tax calculations, take a look

Please see attached setup with checkout. Somethin aint right. The default zone is no tax levied which i think is correct.

please advise.

What countries/states are members of the 'No Tax Levied' zone?

A zone with no members = no zone

The no tax zone is set up as all stats besides the 3 that are setup for thier respective tax rates. The calcilation is not correct. it should be 8.5%. The order is for about 100$. Taxes should be around $8.50 or so. This is not what is coming up in th cart.

Any thoughts??

Cart total showing is $39 plus - tax at 8.5% would be $3.40 plus - looks like that's the figure shown against shipping - are shipping costs $1.49?

Yes, you are right, see attached. Why are the taxes going toward the shipping, not cart total???????

I do not understand this. Now it is OK. Does it have something to do with the fact that when I close my browser, and wait like 1 minute, go back to cart and it is not empty. Still shows contents. Waited like 1 hour and did it and all is empty and taxes are OK!!
