    Search errors

I feel that i'm having a blonde moment. I'm having a problem with my search function.

The client wants to just search by cat. number. So i changed the needed settings in actinic. My index_cat.html page is my search page. So i upload it and when i search, the file pulls images from the wrong source and the following error shows

"Missing text search join mode. Please specify AND or OR.

Please wait for your browser to forward you to the next page or click here."

Also the search page url is "http://www.domain.co.uk/acatalog/index_cat.html"
But when it searches it changes to
    "http://domain.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000002.pl?RANDOM=NETQUOTEVAR%3ARANDOM&PAGE=SEARCH&SS=1738&ACTION=Search"

Oh and for some reason when i use this particular template the "£" symbol doesnt work?

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

    Kim,

This one seems to have slipped by. Can you tell me if this issue has been sorted as yet? I would suggest using the default search template and taking a look at the Advanced Users Guide. When you search you invoke a perl script called the Search Script, this will create a cgi-bin link like the one you describe.

    Kind regards,
